How this one is specified.
The cheapest change you can make to a finished closet is a shelf. Every one in the program sits on the same 32 mm pin pattern, so adding, removing or re-spacing costs a component and ten minutes rather than a carpenter and a morning. A closet that cannot be re-spaced is a closet that fits the year it was installed.
Widths match the towers — 18, 21, 24, 30 and 36 inches — in both 15 and 24 inch depths, so a shelf ordered three years after the run is the same part in the same finish. That is the practical meaning of a cataloged component program: the SKU still exists.
Panels are 3/4 inch with a matched decor band on the front face. The thickness is what keeps a loaded shelf flat over a full-width span, and the banded front is what stops the exposed edge from chipping where hands and hangers actually touch it.
Every size above is built in any of the six finishes; pulls, LED strips and pull-out hardware come from the accessories and hardware catalog.
