What it is for.
Drawers are supplied in a shallow 6-2/7 inch height for accessories and folded knitwear, and a deep 12-3/5 inch height for jeans and sweaters. All five sizes run 24 inches deep on soft-close slides and mount inside a standard tower, so a drawer bank can go anywhere in the layout rather than only at the ends.
- Two useful heights6-2/7 in for jewellery, belts and folded shirts; 12-3/5 in for denim and knitwear. Nothing in between, because nothing in between earns its space.

How many drawers fit in one tower?
A 84-inch tower will take up to six shallow drawers or three deep drawers in the lower half while leaving hanging or shelf space above. Most layouts use a mix of two deep and two shallow.
